About Our Organization
As a non-profit healthcare organization, Signature Healthcare relies on generous friends like you to ensure we have the best doctors, the best nurses, the best support staff and the best equipment to provide you and your family the best care possible, right here - close to home! We've been here in your community for over 120 years and our annual Champions Fighting Cancer Walk helps to support cancer care programs and services that benefit our community.
Because of friends like you, the Signature Healthcare Foundation and the Chrystine M. Sullivan Memorial Foundation have partnered to raise over $3 million dollars over the past 17 years to support cancer services in our area. Our patients and their families thank you!
Signature Healthcare - GREAT NEWS!Proceeds for this year's walk will support our new comprehensive cancer care center at Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital! We are counting on you more than ever to help us make this happen.
Scheduled to open in late 2017, in partnership with Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical Faculty and US Oncology, this state-of-the-art cancer center will 'Bring Boston to Brockton' giving patients local access to the most modern and sophisticated treatment and technologies for diagnostic testing, chemotherapy, radiation therapy and immunotherapy - the new ideas just coming into the world.
Your generous support of our 2017 Champions Fighting Cancer Walk will help make this possible. All of Signature Healthcare's proceeds will be applied toward the cost of building, equipping and managing the new facility.
Chrystine M. Sullivan Memorial FoundationAs a result of your kindness, the Chrystine M. Sullivan Memorial Foundation continues to help many patients, clients and their families through partnerships with the Ellie Fund (providing transportation, childcare, groceries and other necessities for individuals with breast cancer), the Cancer Support Community Massachusetts South Shore (offering counseling, emotional support, lifestyle programs, education, workshops and more to families of cancer patients), the Friends of Mel Foundation (whose annual conference, The Art of Living-Life Beyond Cancer, helps hundreds of cancer survivors learn to continue living beyond their cancer diagnosis and treatment), the Learn Live Love Cancer Outreach Organization (helping to pay rent, utilities, cable/internet, insurance co-pays and provides for other essentials for woman battling cancer), Looking and Feeling FAB, Inc. (offering free skin care treatments and education on aesthetics to cancer patients), and the Beth C.
